The Role of the Management Committee
When
letting the premises, the Management Committee has no legal
responsibility for vetting an organisations employees or
volunteers. The organisation or individual taking the let is
responsible for complying with the Protection of Children
(Scotland) Act 2003 or the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG)
(Scotland) 2007.
Determining whether to vet volunteers or staff should be based
on a risk assessment by the responsible organisation.

and hand it fully completed to the Facilities Co-ordinator
at the centre. As we have a very full programme, please be
advised that all let requests are subject to availability of
rooms. All information submitted will be treated with the
strictest of confidence and will not be disclosed to any
other organisation.
